M.D, professor Yusubov Yunis Amiraslan was born in 1942. In 1964 he has ended the Azerbaijan Medical Institute.

He was accepted to postgraduate course on cathedra of surgical stomatology of the Kiev Institute of Improvement of Doctors in 1972. By defending dissertation of medical sciences candidacy, worked as assistant on cathedra of surgical stomatology of Kiev Medical Institute in 1975. After defending doctors’ dissertation in Kiev in 1988, was appointed to the position of professor on cathedra of surgical stomatology of the Azerbaijan Medical Institute, by the competition held in 1989.

Professor Yusubov Y.A. is an author of more than 250 scientific works, also 2 textbooks, one monograph (joint author), 18 discoveries, 15 methodic recommendations and methodic works. He participated in many International Congresses (Turkey 1997, Iran 2008, Italy 2008). He is the member of International Maxillo-Facial Surgery Association since 1999, and Azerbaijan Stomatologic Association Council and director of Surgery Department since 1997. At first time he printed the textbook on surgical stomatology in Azerbaijani language in 1996. Some new original surgery methods which belong to Yusubov Y.A. are used in practice by taking out a patent.
